It is amazing how busy you can get when you are not working a 9 to 5. I think as soon as I became unemployed, I quickly made plans for all these things I hadn't been able to do working. Going on trips, having house guests. It is funny because with all the things I have hand going on, I have dropped all my routine things, like gardening daily, going to the gym, etc. I haven't done either of those in a at least a week or more! Well I have watered the garden, but that is it! The weeds are out of control! I haven't even logged onto blogger in so long, my internet browser did not remember the URL! I have been a bad blogger.
Well besides all the little things that have been filling my time, I just wrapped up a bigger project for my friend of Del Forte Denim. Del Forte is a young denim line, which uses premium organic cotton. The line, and my friend, are based out of California. There will be a new program being launched called "recycle your jeans." After you are done with your del forte jeans(if you ever are!) you can send them back for an incentive, then the jeans will be reused and redesigned and sold again. reduce reuse! The recycle program will be launched at this fashion event. For this project, I was a great assortment of vintage trims, kimono scraps, etc to 'recycle' a handful of del forte jeans she also sent me. The garments and the trims couldn't have been any more inspiring, I had so much awesome materials to work with! I think the photos will pretty much speak for themselves, so please check them out! (and thenget your own del forte's!)
